Jennifer Riggs, MDJennifer Riggs, MD

Dr. Riggs received her medical degree from the University of TX, Southwestern Medical School in 2010. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital of the King's Daughter at Eastern Virginia Medical School, in Norfolk, VA in 2013.



Whittney Barkhuff, MDWhitney Barkhuff, MD

Dr. Barkhuff received her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Massachusetts' General Hospital.  Her research is focusing on lymphocyte reactivity in chorioamnionitis.  



Catherine Milner, DOCatherine Milner, MD
PGY-5
Dr. Milner is an American Board of Pediatrics Certified Pediatrician.  She double majored in Exercise & Sports Studies and Heath Science at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC before completing an MS in Exercise Science at Arkansas State University.   She received her medical degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma College of Community Medicine.   Her research is focusing on the neurodevelopmental outcomes of preterm infants who received erythropoiesis stimulating agents versus placebo.  ​



Jenny Camacho, MDJenny Camacho, MD

Dr. Jenny Camacho is an American Board of Pediatrics Certified Pediatrician. She was born in Puyallup, WA. Her mother was a Colonel in the Air Force so she moved around frequently as a child including moving to Turkey when she was 2 years old. Her family finally settled in Las Vegas, NV which she considers home. She attending BYU and earned a Bachelors in Zoology. She then completed medical school at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 2012. She completed her residency training in 2015, and was Chief Resident for the Department of Pediatrics, both at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine.



Marina Santos, MDMarina Santos, MD
PGY-4
Dr. Marina Santos completed her Pediatrics Residency, Chief Residency and Neonatology Fellowship at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Neonatology by the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics. In alignment with her interest of being involved in the academic environment, she remained working at University of Sao Paulo as an assistant physician before pursuing Medical education in Neonatology at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Santos is certain that this exchange will bring her to a richer level of development both professionally and personally. She is also hopeful that she can collaborate and provide different perspectives from her own background to UNM.
